| I've been so busy I sometimes forget to sleep. I feel like I'm on the life speed way, and the gas pedal stuck to the floor. It's all I can do to maneuver around everything else on the road and not crash. I'm ready for a slow down. But I think I see a sand bag barrier ahead, and maybe that will put the brakes on this thing... I'll let you know.

| I have to say, I'm totally and unequivocally opposed to socialized medicine for a number of reasons. But honestly, I'm tired of talking and hearing about it. Going in circles gives me a headache. I feel like the same information is circulating all over the place. Please, just look a little more into it. Go figure out the truth for yourself, and then quit putting all your information all over the place, because I'm tired of that discussion everywhere I go. Don't get me wrong, I like a good debate now and then, and when there's some new information, that's always good. I just feel like I'm beating my head against a wall. Can I just with with you, drink a cup of tea, and talk about something else? Just need a break from it all.

| On the Xanga front page today was this article: http://maesworld.xanga.com/708443757/womanstop-confusing-your-man/
I think it's dead on the mark. I personally don't have the problem, but I've know people who do, and it seems to be a big problem. I recommend a quick read. You won't be disappointed.

| If you don't understand the title, you may as well leave now, because this will probably make no sense to you.
I awoke the other morning thinking about loans, as I'm trying to find a house, and thinking about all the things that entails. Loans are a big part of that. I was thinking about loans, and somehow the thought came to me that loans have some in common with RPG games. You see, you have interest, and those are like shields or armor, and then you have the principle, which is like the "health" of the beast we like to call a loan. It is my goal to destroy the loan, so I can own my house, free and clear. (Though the way things are going, maybe just clear) Anyways, so my payments are like the damage that I'm dealing to the "beast." And the interest is what blocks most of my damage from getting through. So lets say that my loan is 100,000 dollars. My loan has 100,000 hit points. But when you first start paying on the loan, say it's 800 dollars a month, most of that goes to interest. Well, interest and escrow (Until you get some serious loan paid off... like cutting off one of its arms). So, 755 goes to interest, and only 45 damage is dealt to the loan monster. Merely a scratch... Not even... maybe an eyelash. But see, here's the secret: after you've dealt that blow, his shields are depleted until the next turn, which in this case, is next month. So, now I swung and dealt 800 damage total, giving me a total of 45 to the beast... but what if I used more mana, and increased the damage I dealt? So say I throw 1000 dollars at it instead of 800. Now the shields are still only absorbing 755, so I deal a much more substantial 245 HP blow to the creature! Not only does that hurt his HP, it also whittles down his shields, as they are based on the amount of HP of the creature. So next time, I'll have to get through less shields to take HP directly from the monster. That affects the entire rest of the battle, even if from then on I deal only the minimum damage! Now, if you're and RPGer, then you understand why it's so important to pay a little extra every month on the loan, so that you can pay it off way sooner, and at much less expense! That's your finance lesson for today. (And yes, that's the type of crap I think about in the shower.)
